There are throngs of visitors to the Salvtaion Army Hall at Clapton, where four Salvationists keep a night-long vigil before General Bramwell Booth’s coffin. General Booth’s features, visible through a glass panel, are emaciated, but full of dignity and power. His cap and his Bible, which is open at Romans xvi., where he was last reading, rest on top of the coffin.
