“OF HIGHEST QUALITY”

“MOOSE” LINSEED OIL IS AN ENTIRELY LOCAL PRODUCT

Few New Zealanders are aware that this country manufactures a linseed oil of the highest quality which is made from New Zealand’s own linseed crop. “Moose’* linseed oil is thus an entirely local product, and chemical analysis has proved that its purity, flowing properties and absence of cloud or haze ensure most excellent results for its users.

Experience has shown that New Zealand linseed oil is improved by long storage. In view of this the manufacturers have recently further increased storage capacity at the mill, and purchasers of “Moose” oil may now rely on its being matured for at least six months.

In addition to the natural quality of the oil itself, its manufacture means the production of linseed oil cake, the best cattle food and milk producer at Present known. Every ton of oilcake fed to our dairy cows means increased production and export of butter and cheese, so vital to the Dominion’s prosperity. Mr. M. J. Bennett, painter and decorator, of Auckland, said recently: ” ‘Moose’ brand linseed oil gives results equal to the best linseed I have ever used, possessing all the qualities required in the making of paint to secure a first-class result.”
