Butler, and Mr. Gough, at Brisbane, on behalf of bowlers there of New Zealand birth. The Premier’s message is accompanied by a cheque for £I,OOO donation to relief funds. The Anglican Boys’ Home, Lower Hutt, has offered free accommodation to ten boys, eight to twelve years of age, from the stricken area, irrespective of denomination. Contributions to relief funds include the following: Bing, Harris and Co., £100; Leyland Motors, £100; Cadbury and Frys, 50 guineas.
