Preliminary Announcement THE EMPIRE TOBACCO CORPORATION LIMITED (In Course of Incorporation). AUTHORISED CAPITAL. £250,000 Of which approximately £IOO,OOO will have been issued and fully paid, is in course of incorporation. The Company is being founded by a large and influential syndicate of prominent business men, and will have immediate substantial financial resources. It will be the proprietor of about 2,000 acres of Firstclass Tobacco Land in two or three different areas. The Company will engage upon the largescale development of the Tobacco industry, both by planting and the manufacture of the finished product, under the most skilled guidance by overseas experts. In view of the widespread interest that is now being aroused throughout the Dominion in regard to the development of the Tobacco Industry, it is realised that its successful conduct may be jeopardised and public confidence in it may be diminished if it is left in minor and inefficient hands. Therefore, it is suggested that all persons who may be interested, financially or otherwise, should await the very full information which will shortly be issued by the Empire Tobacco Corporation, Ltd., regarding its undertaking and prospects. Further details will be announced shortly and the Company will make an important public issue in the near future.
