W.C.T.U. MEETING
PROGRESS AT EDEN BRANCH The Dden branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union met in the Dominion Road Methodist Schoolroom on "Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. Hayr presiding. The secretary was instructed to send on certain resolutions, passed at the Dominion Convention, to the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, member for the district. Several members promised to assist in the street day collection for the Hospital Auxiliary, and also in the temperance department, to be arranged at the forthcoming Winter Show. The delegate to the Women’s Xational Council gave her report of their last meeting. The convention report was further read and discussed, and the cradle roll superintendent announced a very pleasing increase in membership.
