SILVER LACE GOWN
SISTERS ATTEND WAIUKU BRIDE MARSHALL —BREGMEN Wearing a beautiful goAvn of silver lace over ivo.ry crepe de chine, Miss Marie Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bregmen, of Glenbrook, formerly of Waiuku, was married in the "Waiuku Methodist Church on Wednesday last to Mr. Rae McClure. The bridegroom is the third son of Mrs. and the late Mb. T. Marshall, of Waiuku. ITer veil of embroidered tulle AA r as held in place with sprays of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of white and palest blue flowers. The Rev. W\ S. Neal was the officiating minister, and Mrs. McEwen presided at the organ. The bride was attended by her two sisters, the Misses Elsie and Louise Bregmen, the former wearing a frock of honey beige crepe de chine and lace. Miss Louise Bregmen’s frock was similarly fashioned of crepe de chine and lace of cornflower blue. Each maid Avore a tulle head-dress to tone with lier frock, and carried a bouquet to harmonise. Mr. Wilson Marshall carried out the duties of best man, Avhile Mr. George Bregmen, eldest brother of the bride*, acted as groomsman. After the ceremony, about 60 guests were entertained by the bride’s parents in the public hall. The guests were received by the bride’s mother, Avho was attired in a black silk dress, with mauve trimmings, Avith a black bat to tone. She carried a bouquet of violets and gaillardias. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black crepe de chine dress, with black hat to match, and the bouquet she carried Avas also composed of violets and gaillardias.
