Among military appointments and ; resignations gazetted tonight is that of Lieutenant-Colonel Falla D. 5.0., who relinquishes command of the Central Coast Artillery Group, X.Z.A., and is transferred to the reserve of officers. Major V. P. Haughton is appointed |in his place. Colonel R. St. J. Beere, j D. 5.0., V.D., relinquishes command of i the 2nd Infantry Brigade, and is trans--1 ferred to the reserve of officers. | Lieutenant-Colonel W. H. Cunningi ham, D. 5.0., V.D., Hawke’s Bay Regi--1 ment, relinquishes command of the Ist , Battalion, and is appointed to command the 2nd Infantry Brigade, with the rank of colonel, j Lieutenant-Colonel R. Evatt, V.D., : Wellington Regiment, relinquishes 1 command of the Ist Battalion and is : transferred to the reserve of officers. Lieutenant-Colonel J. L.
