SINGING COMPETITIONS
CHILDREN AT PRINCE EDWARD The following are the semi-finalists in the children’s singing competitions at the Prince Edward Theatre: Patricia Wallace, Mary Bright, Nonella Cavanagh. Gladys Cain, Gladys Duggan, Ngaire Teweri, Betty Brown. Betty Stone, Edna Lorigan and Hilda Lorimore. The finals will be decided next week.
James Murray has been given an important supporting role in “Thunder,” Ron Chaney’s new Metro-Goldwv n - Mayer starring vehicle now in nroduction. Phyllis Haver plays the’leading feminine role.
