WESTERN SPRINGS STADIUM . Competition is likely to be met in the conducting of events at the new stadium at Western Springs. land Speedways already have arranged to use the park, and an application was made to the City Council last evening seeking the use of the ground also for Broadsiders, Ltd. Speedways, Ltd., objected to the application, and the council decided that, for the present at least, the sporting public was well catered for by Speedways in the dirt racing and other fixtures it is proposed to hold there.
