COUNTY ELECTION INQUIRY FURTHER EVIDENCE REFUSED (From Our Ou:n Correspondent) OPOTHCI, Thursday. A lengthy judgment by Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., in connection with the petition by J. McDonell and others for an inquiry into recent the Opotiki County election was given today. The petition was dismissed bv Mr. Paterson with the ruling that the" petitioners were to pay £3 toward the cost of the inquiry, the balance of their deposit to be returned, to them. The magistrate refused to hear further evidence.
