HERTZOG’S CABINET
TIELMAN ROOS RESIGNS POST ONLY TWO CHANGES Reed. II a.m. CAPETOWN, Wed. The Prime Minister, General J. B. M. Hertzog, has now reconstituted his Cabinet. The only changes are that Mr. Pirow, a Transvaal advocate, takes Mr. Tielman Rooss’s place as Minister of Justice, Mr. Roos. having insisted on resigning owing to the state of his health. Mr. Jansen, the ex-Speaker, joins the Cabinet as Minister of Native Affairs, relieving General Hertzog in that capacity.
