Mr. Duncan arrived from Wellington this morning: on the Limited. Sir George tilliot was a passenger f o r Wellington by the Limited last evening Mr. Beaumont Smith, of J. c. Williamson (N.Z.) Films, left for Wellington by the Limited last evening. Mr. G. *>• Lynde, chief mechanical msineer of railways, arrived from Wellington this morning on the LimitedMr. W. Lysnar, M.P.. and Mrs. and Miss Lysnar, are passengers by the lonic, due at Auckland about July 2, from England. Viscount and Viscountess Melville will reach Auckland by the lonic on July 2. Viscount Melville has been in the Consular service in many parts of the world. Mr. O. A. Moiler, Dominion organiser for the United Political Party, arrived from Wellington this morning on the Limited. He will be engaged in the work of organisation in Auckland. Those New Zealanders who received honours recently from his Majesty the King will be invested with their titles by the Governor-General at Government House on the evening of June Mr. J. H. Baxter, formerly a subinspector of the Union Bank of Australia, is to take charge of the bank’s new branch, to open In Custom Street Last early next week.
