The returning officer, Mr. G. C. Smith, announoy* that six nominations were received, follows: Messrs, H. D. A eland (Chrifltchurch, sitting member), James Carr (Methven. sitting - member). J. O. Coop (Attaahua, Little River). J. S. Jessep (Wairoa, sitting member), Georg* Manson (Stoke, Nelson), William. - Perry (Masterton). The election will take place on August 29.
