FRUITGROWERS MEET
ANNUAL CONFERENCE HELD The annual conference of the Auckland Provincial Fruitgrowers’ Association met yesterday, Mr. H. S. Izard, the local director, presiding. Mr. T. C. Brash, the Dominion president, and the secretary, Mr. N. E. Napier, were present. Fruitgrowers would be credited according to the amount of business done with the federation during the year.* A poll of Auckland growers will be taken later in the year to decide whether the province shall continue to export its fruit under the pooling system. A committee was set up as follows to cooperate in the scheme: Messrs. F. Firth, C. M. Spencer and W. J. Rodger (convenor).
