BRIDGE PARTY
Mrs. Wm. Pascoe and Mrs. Robert Fordham held a bridge party at the ! home of Mrs. Pascoe, in Fernleigh j Avenue, Epsom, on Wednesday afterj noon in aid of the Onehunga Free Kindergarten building fund. The I drawing room was decorated with j bowls of daphne, pink sweet peas and rosebuds. Among the guests were: Mrs. Cowell, I Mrs. Worth. Mrs. G. Patterson, Mrs. 1R- Buchanan, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. Macklow, Mrs. H. V. Sutherland, Mrs. P. Smith, Mrs. Peake. Mrs. Kirk, Mrs. David Cuthbert and Miss Shaw. MOUNT ALBERT W.C.T.U. At the monthly meeting of the Mount Albert W.C.T.U., held in St. Enoch's Church Tlall, an interesting paper was read by Miss McGregor. The subcommittee reported that the Loyal Temperance Legion should soon be holding classes in the Gladstone Road School on Monday afternoons after school hours.
