HORSES BREAK LOOSE IN FIRE I WORKER’S HOME STONED , | 1 MELBOURNE, Wednesday. , Attacks were made on the homes of j 1 . two non-striking timber workers last | 1 . it night. An attempt was made to set fire to j the stable of W. Spekon, at Yarra- | i ville. The incendiarists placed aj I bomb and a bottle filled with inflam- ! j mable spirit in the stables, in which there were horses. Before the flames J reached-serious proportions the horses ! e broke loose. J.' Blakey’s home at Footscray was i s bombarded with stones. All the windows were smashed.
