At a meeting of the control board of the Auckland Football Association held i last evening, Mr. A. Menzies presiding. | it was decided to ask the Huntly Association for suggestions regarding a game between Huntly and the Auckland junior representatives, to be played as a Curtain-raiser to the English trophy match, Auckland v. Wellington. The Auckland Rugby League wrote, asking the association to appoint delegates to join a deputation of all sports bodies to wait upon the City Council regarding petty pilfering in dressing sheds. It was decided to hold College Day late in August. The senior division committee recommended that the business houses’ competition be commenced at once, but the question was held over until later in the season. A recommendation from the judicial committee that Williamson and Coyle, who were ordered off in the Rangers v. Manure wa match, be severely reprimanded, was received and confirmed.
