The first letters bearing the new Australian air-mail stamps arrived in Auckland this morning. The stamp reproduced here is a 3d one and was affixed alongside tlie usual

postal stamp which ensures delivery of the letter after the air service has handed it over to the postal authorities. The stamps are being used over the 3?erthAdelaide air route.
