COUNTRY MATCHES GOOD WEEK-END WEATHER (From Our Oven Correspondent) ROTORUA, Today. j Week-end golf was held in excellent j weather. The second round of the Macdonald ! Cup provided inducement for excellent ! golf. The medal handicap for non-cup players resulted in some good cards being returned, that of the winner, Dr. Hay, being specially meritorious. The following are the results for the Macdonald Cup: Pakes beat Paterson, 5 up and 4; Morrice beat Buddie, 3 and 2; Parata beat Gee, 4 and 3. The medal handicap results are: Hay, 78—10—6 S.
