STATE FARM CUT UP

By an advertisement appearing in this issue the Lands Department is inviting applications for the recently i subdivided sections of the Weraroa Experimental Farm, which will be opened for ballot on July 15. The property, which lies about two miles from Levin, has been used for many years by the Department of Agriculture for experimental and demonstration purposes, and has now been subdivided into nine farms, averaging 65 acres each, four of the farms being provided with buildings. The commissioner of Crown lands in Wellington advises that the land is all flat and that the pastures are in splendid condition- There are numerous shelter belts and the land is first-class dairying country. The sections are offered on special renewable leases for 33-year terms, with a perpetual right of renewal at a rental based on valuation. Further details are advertised.
