FOOTBALLERS INJURED
THREE BROUGHT TO HOSPITAL Three footballers were injured while playing in matches near Auckland 11 Saturday afternoon. Sydney ull, aged 26, of Jessel Street, Ponsonby, received slight concussion of the brain while playing in second-grade League for Newton at Mount Albert. While playing in an Association match at St. Heliers Bay, A Jamieson, aged 30, of Chelsea, i*eceived injuries to his back, and a Marist player at the Northcote Recreation Ground, R. Swindley, had his nose broken. They were all three brought in to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
