FARM RELIEF APPROVED
U.S. CONGRESS SENDS BILL TO PRESIDENT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.55 a.m. WASHINGTON, Fri. Congress today passed the Farm Relief Bill without the export debenture plan, and sent it immediately to President Hoover for his signature to make it effective. The debenture plan would have given the farmer a bounty of half the tariff duty on his exported products.
