NEW FARMERS’ UNION

MR. F. MOORE ORIGINATOR Press Association CARTERTON, Today. Interviewed this morning regarding Uie formation of a new Farmers’ Union, Mr. Ben Roberts, chairman of the Parkvale Co-operative Dairy Company. Ltd., states liis name was associated with the scheme under a misapprehension. The man responsible for the proposal is Mr. F. T. Moore, of Wellington, and while there are several planks in the proposal for which farmers have been striving, the time at Mr. Roberts’s disposal will not permit him to be associated actively with the new union.
