RESIDENTS’ WANTS
FACILITIES AT TAKAPUNA The North Shore Transport Bus Company is to be approached by th<» Takapuna Western Area Ratepayers’ Association with a request that a more convenient service be provided around Lake Pupuke. The running of an extra bus at 7 a.m. from Milford will also be suggested. These requests were decided on at this week’s meeting of the association. Suggestions are also to be made to the Takapuna Borough Council that there be extra street lights and that a footpath should be formed from Auburn Street around the lake to | Shakespeare Road on the side away from the lake.
