APPEALS DISMISSED

RAILWAYMEN’S DECISION (Special to THE SUN) DUNEDIN, Thursday. The appeals of two stationmasters and two clerks against the appointment of a junior member to a position on the commercial staff of the Railway Department have been dismissed by the Railway Appeal Board, which sat at Dunedin recently. Several appeals were also heard in Christchurch and Wellington regarding the same appointment, but all have now been dismissed.
