Patrick’s College, Wellington. The j Gregorian “Missa de Requie” was sung \ by a choir of priests. The Rev. Father Spillane, S.M., was the celebrant of the Mass and was as- | sisted by the Rev. Father G. Colgan (an old boy of Sacred Heart College) as deacon, and by the Rev. Father A. Link (St. Peter’s Rural Training College). as sub-deacon. The Rev. Father Cahill, of the Redemptorist Order, was master of ceremonies. Among the clergy present were tiie Verv Rev. Dean Van Dyk (representing the Mill Hill Fathers), Dean Brennan (Parnell), Father Furlong (Devonport), Fathers Bradley and O’Neill (Remuera), Fathers MeKeefry, Power and Von Rotter (Cathedral), Tully (Howick and Panmure), and Kearns (Ponsonby). The Rev. Brother Berignus (rector of Sacred eHart College) and the Rev. Brother Borgian represented the Marist Brothers. The funeral of Father Ryan, late rector of St. Patrick's Oollcgc, took place today at Wellington. It was well attended by both laity and clergy. Solemn requiem mass was celebrated at St. Mary of the Angels, the celebrant being the Rev. Dr. Kennedy, provincial of the Marist Order, and the preacher Father Gilbert, formerly rector of St. Patrick’s. Archbishop O’Shea conducted the service at the graveside. Sacred Heart College, Auckland, and St. Bede’s, Christchurch, were represented.
