Maid Attends Bride In Pretty Frock of Lavender and Silver BROWN—NOBLE St.. Stephen's Ch*i ch. in Opotiki. was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Adela Pear!, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. FI. Noble, of Opotiki. was married to Leslie Herbert Brown, eldest son of the kAe Mr. and Mrs. B own, of Toa Toa. The Rev. J. E. Draper officiated at the ceremony. Entering the church on the arm of her father, the bride was daintily attired in a beautiful white satin beaute frock, the bodice of which was plain, the skirt having three frills edged with silver lace. Her charming veil was of tulle, with scalloped edge and tmbroidered corners, arranged on the head with a wreath of orange blossom and silver leaves. She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses, pink begonia, white solaniums and asparagus fern tied with white satin streamers. LAVENDER SATIN Miss Linda Brown, sister of the bridegroom, attended as bridesmaid, and was dressed in lavender satin inset with silver lace. She wore as a head-dress a cap of tulle, with silver leaves across the forehead, and a large bow of tulle at the back. Her bouquet was of purple salvia, bluebells and asparagus fern. The bridegroom’s brother, Mr. Stanley Brown, attended as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Farmers’ Social Room, when the usual toasts were honoured. Later the newly-married couple left by car for Rotorua and Napier, the bride travelling in a frock of powder-blue repp, with hat to match.
