MOTORIST’S CLOSE CALL

CAR TURNS SOMERSAULT (From Our Own Correspondent) MORRINSVILLE, Today. A party of Huntly motorists had a narrow escape from death or serious injury when nearing Morrinsville on Monday night. The car, containing five passengers, was owned and driven by Mr. G. Barford, of Huptly, and was travelling along the Hangawera Road when something went wrong with the steering gear and the car ran off the road, turning a complete somersault. The occupants escaped with only cuts and bruises.
