GIRL SENT TO BORSTAL THREE CHARGES OF THEFT “She must go to the Borstal, and for three years if possible,” said Major Annie Gordon, probation officer, of Dorothy Bertha Alice Olive Gilbert, at the Police Court this morning. “It would be for her own good.” Gilbert, a domestic, aged 20, pleaded guilty on three charges of theft. Gilbert was convicted and committed to the Borstal for a term not exceeding three years.
