REMUERA ASSAULT

SUSPECT BEFORE COURT REMANDED ON BAIL Believed to have been implicated in an assault made on a young woman in Remuera on March 9, the story of which was told in yesterday’s SUN, Arthur Collins, a labourer, aged 26, appeared in the Police Court this morning. He was charged with assaulting the young woman so as to cause her actual bodily harm. A remand was made until June 20. On the application o£ Mr. Singer, hail was fixed in two sureties each of £2OO.
