NORTHERN OUTPUT i INCREASING (From Our Oxen Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, Monday. An increase for the season of 229 tons of butter upon the previous season, constituting another record, is the fine achievement of the Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited. During the season just closed the company's newly-established Kirikopuni factory, operated for four months in the flush of the season, viz.. November, December, January and February, and contributed 207 tons to the total record output. For the month of May the figures showed a slight decrease upon those of last season, the respective tonnage being: May. 1929. 772 tons; May, 1928. SOi tons. The figures for the seasons are respectively: 1925-29, 2,214 tons; 192728. 1.984.67 tons. Since its establishment in 1903 the company has made a grand total of 22.047.52 tons. The continued increase from yt -.r to year is coincidental with the pr f ress of the district. MORRINSVILLE COY.’S RETURNS (From Our Oicn Correspondent) HAMILTON. Monday. An increase of 38 per cent, has been made by the Morrinsville Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, in the quantity of butter manufactured for the season ended on May 31. compared with the output for the 1927-2 S season. The total quantity of butter made for the season was 1,212 tons, as against 876 tons for the previous season. Advances for the season to date have averaged Is 5.259 d. after allowing for cartage. A large quantity of cream is still being received and a ton of butter a day is being manufactured.
