Born and educated in Auckland, Mr. Norden has been connected with the dairy produce trade for the greater part of his business career. Apart from an extensive city trade, as the representative of overseas concerns he has built up a sound connection for his firm in all parts of the province. He has also established a branch at Hamilton. He is an active worker as chairman of the Communications and Transport Committee of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, and takes a keen interest in current commercial affairs. In spite of his many business interests, Mr. Norden continues to be a keen supporter of rowing, at which sport he has excelled for a comparatively long period, of years. He has represented Auckland on numerous occasions and, as recently as last season, added, two more cups to liis collection of trophies.
