AERO CLUB OPENING
FLIGHTS AT CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Sundai’. The Canterbury Aero Club officially opened its activities yesterday afternoon. There was an attendance of several thousand people at the Sockburn airdrome, where the opening ceremony was performed. Lady Wigram, in the absence of Sir Henry Wigram. hoisted the wind indicator on the club's new hangar, signifying the official opening. Four airplanes were up during the afternoon, and many members of the club were given flights as passengers.
