LICENCES RENEWED The flrsbt meeting of the newly-con-stituted Hauraki Licensing Commitwas held in the Otahuhu Police '-ourt today. Mr. T. Whiteley was elected chairman, and other members present were: -Messrs. C. R. Petrie, A. J. Bourke, G. A * Newton. Police and health officers’ reports beln* satisfactory the following renewals were granted:—Railway Hotel. Mercer, Jo Ernest Bernard Morey; Star Hotel, J>tahuhu. to Eliza Seymour Rae: Criterion Hotel.
