FIRE AT PAEROA
BRIGADE’S GOOD SAVE (From Our Qicti Correspondent) PAEROA. Sunday. A six-roomed house, owned by S. Rowbottom. of Auckland, and occupied by Mr. F. Pivott and his family, situated in Belmont Road, Paeroa, was partially destroyed by fire last evening. The fire had a good hold of the front of the house when discovered. The Paeroa brigade effected a very good save, confining the fire to the front rooms. The furniture wus insured for £3OO in th« Victoria Office.
