MAORIS’ HECTIC TRIP
INTOXICATED DRIVER FINED £5 POLICE TAKE CHARGE (From Our Own Correspondent) HTJNTLY, Today. A Te Hoe Maori, Peter King, was fined £5 at the Huntly Police Court this morning for being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. On Saturday King arrived in Huntly at mid-day with other Maoris, after a hectic trip. The police took a hand and drove the car to the police station. Defendant’s licence was also endorsed.
