Sebastian is seen as a Tennessee girl who remains loyal to the North, despite the secession of the State from the Union. Through trickery of a spy, she gives a signal to her lover which causes Morgan’s
men to raid the village. The spy leads the girl to believe her sweetheart arranged the signal which made her appear a traitor, but she is convinced that he did not, so she surrenders to love as the village surrenders to the gallant Confederate leader. ‘‘Steamboat Bill Junior." the second feature, is an uproarious comedy of Mississippi riverboats, starring Buster Keaton. SEMI-FINALISTS ANNOUNCED The children’s singing competitions which are being held at the Prince Edward Theatre are now advanced to the stage of the semi-finals. The elimination contests will be held next Saturday afternoon and on following Saturdays, when the following children will appear: Betty Stone. Lulu Rhend. Edna Lorigan, Patricia Wallace.
