BLIND BOYS’ BAND

VISIT TO ROTORUA The boys’ band of the Jubilee Institute for the Blind will visit Rotorua on Friday next under the auspices of the Rotorua Rotary Club. During the visit of the Minister of Education, tlie Hon. H. Atmore, to the institution on Saturday, the band was assembled and played for him. The chairman, Mr. A. J. Hutchinson, informed him that on Friday next the band was going to Rotorua as the guest of the Rotorua Rotary Club, to demonstrate what could be done in the way of forming and training boys’ bands in the Dominion. A number of Rotorua boardinghouses and hotels has offered free accommodation for the members of the band, which offer is much appreciated by the members of the Rotary Club and of rhe institute.
