TOLTEC PYRAMIDS

SIX MORE DISCOVERED Six more pyramids have been discovered near Mexico City, in the valley of San Juan de Tiotihuacan, where the famous pyramids of the Sun and Moon, dating from Toltec times, are situated. The new pyramids are small and cannot be compared in size with the two large ones that rival those of Egypt in their size and architectural features. The archaeological section of the Department of Educa-1 tion of the Mexican Government has*! been carrying on work in the district j of San Juan de Tiotihuacan, situated j about thirty miles from Mexico City, j and many interesting discoveries of an early indigenous civilisation have been recently uncovered. The six pyramids were found buried under six small hills. Each one is 15 feet high and they face the pyramids of the Sun and Moon.
