A special meeting of the Opotikf Rugby Union was held on Thursday; night. The chairman, Mr. Burton, reported that the sole selector, Mr. McIntosh, had reconsidered his decision to resign and would carry on. The Bay Un' .1 secretary advised that Messrs. White and O’Sullivan had been readmitted to the Rugby code by the New Zealand Union. Mr. W. Wilkinson stated that there was every likelihood that the Bay of Plenty v. Waikato match would be played at Opotiki. The president of the Bay Union had asked that information be placed, before the union in connection with, the visit by the Waikato team. In the event of the match not boin? played at Opotiki the game will to Rotorua.
