“KITTY”
Tlia film version of the novel ‘ Kitty," by Warwick Deeping, the author of “Sorrell and Son,” is now at the Grand and Lyric Theatres. The popular players, Estelle Brody, John Stuart, Marie Ault and Dorothy Cumming, are seen in the leading roles. The film was produced amid the picturesque natural settings of one of the most charming beauty spots on the banks of the River Thames, and the producer, Mr. Victor Saville has obtained some very remarkable and beautiful "shots.” The story concerns Alex. St. James, a newlv-appointed army officer, who falls in love with and secretly marries a beautiful girl of comparatively humble origin. His mother, a proud aristocrat, learns of the marriage, and does her utmost to make the girl appear unworthy in her son's eyes. The second feature, "Hew Tears Eve," stars Mary Astor, Earle Foxe and Charles Morton, in a comedydrama of a rich girl's experiences on the fringe of the underworld. I
