HOCKEY PLAYER HURT
A Defence A hockey player. Alfred Worthington, received a compound fracture of his nose during a match on the Childer's Road Reserve. Gisborne. He and an opponent hit the ball at the same time, and it rose unexpectedly. striking Worthington on the face. He was taken to hospital.
