Haeusler, of the Hauraki Regiment, has been awarded the Colonial Auxiliary Force’s Long-Service Medal. Captain F. L. Hartnell (retired) has received the game award. Sir Ewen J. Maclean, president of the British Medical Association, will attend the Australasian Medical Conference to be held in Sydney in September. It is possible that he may visit Zealand at the conclusion of the conference. Dr. J. A. Jenkins, Dunedin. Dr. W, P. P. Gordon. Stratford, and Dr. J. Hardie Neil, Auckland, will represent the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association at the Pan-Pacific Surgical Conference to be held at Honolulu on August 14.
