WINTER EXHIBITION OPENING
A deputation waited upon the Prime Minister on Thursday regarding arrangements for the opening of the Winter Exhibition. Sir Joseph Ward regrets that he was unable to perform the ceremony himself, owing to it being the first week of the new session of Parliament, but said he would endeavour to arrange for the Minister of Agriculture or the Minister of Industries and Commerce to perform the opening ceremony.
