NEW HOUSE BURNED

NOT YET OCCUPIED FIRE AT AVONDALE A brand-new five-roomed house in Windsor Road, Avondale, was completely destroyed by fire about 2.15 this morning. The house had just been built for Mr. R. Henry, of Avondale, and the family were on the point ol moving in, only a few finishing touches being necessary. The furniture had not yet been put in, and so far as is known the building was unoccupied after the workers left last evening. No cause is known for the fire. The new building was insured in the Alliance Office for £SOO.
