MR. E. A. ROBINSON Mr. Ernest Albert Robinson, aged 64. secretary and manager of the Commercial Travellers’ Association for the past seven years, has died at Christchurch .—P, A. MR. H. MUNRO-WILSON Mr. Hugh Munro-'Wilson, a son of the late Mr. James Irwin Wilson, one of the earliest pioneers of the North, died at his home, “Mandalay,” Remuera Road, on Wednesday, at the age of 64. Born at Whangarei, Mr. Wilson qualified as an engineer at an early age and as a young man did much important surveying in the North and in the province. For many years he was engineer to the Waiteinata County Council. Practising for himself, he carried out many large works in various parts of New Zealand, including the designing and supervising of the first Waitakere reservoir, which cost and which conserved 220.000.000 gallons of water for Auckland City. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, three daughters. Mrs. J. C. Craig. Mrs. A. J. Marshall and Mrs. P. Seabrook. of Auckland, and one son, Mr. Hugh Munro-Wilson, of RuawaL MRS. MARGARET GORDON Mrs. Margaret Hunter Gordon, who died at Waitekauri, on Wednesday, at the age of SI, was a daughter of the late Mr. Alexander Mackenzie, of Woolongong, New South Wales. In 1870 she married Mr. Thomas Gordon, and in 1871 they arrived in New Zealand. After spending about five years on the Thames goldfields they settled at Waitekauri, where Mr. Gordon engaged in mining. Mr. Gordon died in 1898
