COUNCILLORS APPOINTED EXHIBITION SPACE BOOKED The monthly meeting of the general committee of the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association was held yesterday afternoon, when the following committees were appointed: Publicity.—Messrs. G. Finn, A. W. Parker, G. Mills Palmer, W. D. Munn, H. Welsh, and F. W. Petterd. Trade and Tariff.—Messrs. F. N. Ambler. F. M. Hills, C. A. Whitney, E. W. J. Bowden, G. Mills Palmer, C. W. Coles ,and S. Takle. Membership.—F. N. Ambler, C. B. Plummer, C. W. Cox, C. A. Whitney, and W. Parkinson. The secretary, Mr. J. Findlay, reported that the space for the Auckland Winter Exhibition had been fully booked up, and there was every prospect that it would be as successful as any in the past. Mr. W. D. Munn referred to what he termed the “good work being done by The Sun” with its -weekly "Buy New Zealand Goods” page. Mr. Findlay exhibited the first page of a similar feature which had been initiated in the Christchurch “Sun” on Saturday last.
