VICE-REGAL PARTY IN WELLINGTON CHATHAM ISLANDS TRIP After a residence of over three months in Auckland, his Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and the Lady Alice Fergusson, returned last evening to Wellington by the Limited. Accompanying their Excellencies were Mrs. George Baird, the Countess Thelma Metaxa, Captain E. L. OrrEwing and Lord Waleran. The official secretary, Mr. A. C. Day, leaves tomorrow, and Captain E. P. O. Boyle, an aide-de-camp, on Friday. This morning, as soon as they arrived in Wellington, their Excellencies left by the Government steamer Tutanekai for an official visit to the Chatham Islands. They will return on. June 13 and will go Into residence at Government House during the Parlimentary session beginning on June 27. The length of the session will decide their movements after Parliament rises, hut a round of farewell visits will be made before they leave New Zealand.
