PAPAKURA FORESTERS
The Loyul Papakura Lodge met on INJonday evening. Visitors were present from Loyul Franktun. Drury and Manurewa Lodges. The visitors were welcomed by the N.G., Bro. Slessor. During the evening ten new members were Initiated into the lodge. After the initiation, the newly elected officers were installed in their respective chairs by Bro. Best. P.D.G.M.. assisted by Bros. Hotham, P.G., and McDonald, P.G.. The oftteers installed were: N.G., Bro. Yellavitch; V.G.. Bro. Scott: K.S.. Bro. Turner; 1.P.N.G., Bro. Slessor; warden, Bro. M. Alexander. During the evening Bro. Best presented Bro. \V. Grant. P.G.. on behalf of the Papakura Lodge, with a Past Grand’s collar, as a small token of their esteem, and for his splendid work as financial secretary since the formation of the lodge. Bro. Best also asked him to accept a tea chariot for Sister Grant. P.G.. who was unable to be present. Bro. and Sister Grant have resigned from the lodge as they are leaving the district. Bro. Best also presented Bro. ■Wall. P.G., with an emblem of the order Bro. Grant to accept one for F • r Grant.
