FEW DEFENDED CASES

TRAFFIC COURTS ENJOY LIGHT DAY Offending motorists electing to plead guilty, the two traffic courts enjoyed a lighter task than usual this morning. In the Police Court Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., was able to leave the bench, well before noon, and Mr. E. C. Cutten, who presided over the Magistrate’s Court, made his adjournment shortly after 11 o’clock. Serious charges were few, and no fine imposed exceeded £2 and costs.
